BSIF safety awards 2008
March 4th 2008

The BSIF safety awards acknowledge individuals or organisations within the industry whose ideas have established new levels of excellence in their field.

A key aim of the British Safety Industry Federation is to improve occupational health and safety within the UK by promoting best working practices and actively encouraging the incorporation of a strong safety ethic into the workplace. The annual BSIF Safety Awards are integral to this.

The categories for 2008 have now been finalised and are as follows:

Product Innovation – for new and innovative products that will ultimately contribute to improvements in occupational health and safety

Service Awards – for companies in the service field offering exceptional service and innovative service solutions. This is voted by the entrants own customers

Safety Excellence – a new series of awards based upon case studies highlighting safety activities instigated during 2007 which have improved the safety for employees of an organisation. This provides suppliers, consultants and installers the opportunity to promote advances they have made to prevent occupational accidents.

The Awards will be presented at the Safety and Health Expo, NEC, Birmingham on 13th May 2008. Every new initiative or product that has successfully improved safety in the workplace began as a simple idea. Make sure that your initiative receives the recognition it deserves by entering the BSIF Safety Awards 2008.

The closing date for entries is 14th March, contact

David Lummis for full details.
