Tender assistance service launched October 1st 2008 RoSPA has launched a new service to help organisations both large and small meet the health and safety requirements stipulated in many tender documents.
The Tender Assistance Service is designed to help firms through a process that, to many, can be a time-consuming minefield.
The way an organisation approaches health and safety speaks volumes about its overall values and professionalism and a good record on accident prevention and health are increasingly seen as conferring a competitive advantage.
In fact, such a record might be the one thing that sets a tender apart from all the other submissions. Winners of RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards, for example, have cited that public recognition of their achievements in this sphere has proved valuable when tendering for new contracts.
Through the new service, RoSPA consultants are able to give telephone advice and, where appropriate, face-to-face guidance.

A RoSPA consultant will then be in contact to discuss in more detail how the service can help firms to make the most of new business opportunities.
