BSC conference on concerns for small businesses
September 2nd 2008

The BSC has organised a half-day conference in order to get the views of small businesses on the problems they face getting expert and proportionate health and safety advice and guidance from safety practitioners.

The event, entitled ‘Do you run or manage a small business? How to ensure that the advice and guidance you get on health and safety is accurate and expert’, will be held on Friday, 10 October at London’s Hilton Hotel, Euston.

Judith Donovan CBE, HSE board member and chair of HSE’s Small Business Trade Association Forum, is the keynote speaker for the event and Nina Wrightson, chair of the BSC board of trustees, and Brian Nimick, BSC chief executive, will also be speaking and participating with Judith in an open panel discussion. There will also be the opportunity to put questions to the panel.

Registration fees are £150 for BSC members and £200 for non-members (excluding VAT), and the deadline for registration is Friday, 19 September. For more information and to register online, visit www.britishsafetycouncil.org/events/conference.aspx
