BSIF Awards - Celebrating innovation and excellence
May 7th 2010

The judging for the BSIF Safety Awards has now taken place and there will be 12 finalists and six awards made for Product Innovation at the Safety & Health Expo on the 11th May at the NEC in Birmingham. The presentations of the Safety Excellence and the Safety Services awards will be made at the same ceremony. The overall winners of these three schemes will receive their awards at the RoSPA-BSIF Awards Dinner in the evening.

Errol Taylor, RoSPA, commented as Chairman of the Judges: "There was a high degree of innovation across the entries this year with manufacturers seeking to use new technology developed elsewhere and apply it to safety products with excellent results".

David Lummis, BSIF, reported:"These schemes appear to have stimulated singular creativity this year and we hope that commercial success will follow to improve the ability of safety products and services to help to reduce workplace accidents and injuries."
