optimus lights up Safety & Health 2010
June 3rd 2010

Cirrus Research presented the new optimus sound level meters at the recent Safety & Health 2010 Expo at the NEC. The new optimus range with its industry leading OLED colour display and ease of use was the star of the show. The optimus has been designed from the ground up to use the very latest technology and to give users the simplest way to carry out noise assessments.

Introduced at Safety & Health, the latest addition to the optimus range, the green series, add real time 1:3 octave band filters to the wide range of capabilities of the red series and has been designed for users who need to make environmental noise measurements as well as carrying out Noise at Work surveys.

James Tingay, group marketing manager for Cirrus Research explains:

"The new optimus green instruments move the range further along and give anyone who has to make both occupational and environmental noise measurements simply the best instrument on the market. We've designed the optimus to be as simple to use as possible whilst providing the flexibility and performance that our customers demand."
