Scientific Technologies, Inc (STI) introduces the Metric Mat series of pressure sensitive safety mats. Because they are available in more than 100 standard sizes with four different configurations, the need for specials is reduced, saving the user time. For non-standard applications, a range of custom solutions are available.

Metric mats are available in widths from 300 to 1200mm, and lengths from 250 to 1800mm. They come in black and yellow, with five and 10m cables. Standard trim kits for single mat installations are available with moulded or mitred corners. Customised trim for user-specific requirements is available for multiple mat applications.

These rugged safety mats provide a reliable, guarding solution for robotic applications. They are ideally suited to perimeter guarding applications that require ease of access, while safeguarding the personnel operating the equipment.
