Approved for ATEX use
October 1st 2005

Euchner (UK) has introduced a new range of safety switches that are suitable for ATEX applications.

The new range shares many common ‘tried and tested’ components with the company’s standard range of safety switches, including actuation heads and actuators. The same mounting hole drill patterns are also used.

Versatility can be achieved by using the TZ or TP switches (with guard locking) or the GP or NZ (without guard locking), depending on installation requirements. The CES noncontact safety switches with specially coded actuators are also available with ATEX approvals.
