BREAKS ELECTRICAL CONTROL CIRCUITS
October 1st 2004

Euchner has introduced ESM safety relays that can serve fields of application up to Category 4, EN954-1.

The range is designed to break electrical control circuits and, therefore, switch off any potentially hazardous machine function.

This is possible due to the continuous monitoring of all connected switchgear, including mechanical safety switches with or without a guard-locking device, non-contact safety switches, two-hand controls, contact mats and other emergency stop switchgear.

The switching system ensures that machines are switched off and cannot be re-started in the event of internal machine defects.

The relay housing has a body width of just 22.5mm and is suitable for din rail mounting.
