Ex-approved plug and socket connectors

ASCO Numatics says its explosion-proof solenoid valves with an Ex-approved plug and socket connector system enable installation, maintenance and repair of solenoid valves to be carried out within a hazardous area, without the need to isolate the equipment.

As there is no need to obtain a hot permit, a replacement device can be quickly installed keeping downtime to a minimum.

The HA connection system comprises a male socket integrated into the solenoid valve, and a female connector, available as an option. No tools are necessary.

The connector can be used with voltages to 250V AC or 60V DC.
