HANDLAMP PROVIDES EMERGENCY LIGHTING
October 1st 2005

S.A Equipment has introduced an emergency version of its ML800 handlamp, believed to be the first rechargeable ATEX handlamp to feature a powerful LED light source.

Used in combination with the SA MLC charging holder, the ML800 EM will illuminate immediately in the event of a power failure. Once turned on, it will continue to work for up to 7h, whether left in-situ or removed for use as a compact handlamp.

The unit is suitable for emergency lighting on working and accommodation areas in or close to potentially explosive Zone 1 and 2 ATEX classified environments.

Offering one of the slimmest profiles of any right angle torch, it can be easily fastened to a belt or clothing for hands-free use. The LED will provide years of service without the need for replacement.
