INTRINSICALLY SAFE CALIBRATOR
August 1st 2004

Fluke has extended its range of intrinsically safe test tools for use in hazardous areas with the introduction of the new, powerful 718Ex pressure calibrator. The handheld Fluke 718Ex pressure calibrator is a cost-effective solution, believed to be the smallest, self-contained pressure calibrator available with a built in hand pump. It is available in 2bar and 7bar models with accuracies to 0.05% of full span, and extension up to 200bar using optional pressure modules. It has a simple push button user interface and a wide range of selectable measurement units for pressure. Current measurements offer 0.02% accuracy and 0.001mA resolution. Min/Max hold functions ensure capture of accurate readings. The 718Ex is compact and lightweight for easy portability, and has Flukes proven rugged reliable construction for use under tough field and on-site working conditions.
