New alarm sounders from Klaxon Signals are designed to allow faster installation and maintenance due to their mounting base.

Dispensing with the need for locking screws, Sonos sounders and sounder beacons use TimeSaver bases from sister company Apollo Fire Detectors.

Heads simply lock onto the base with a twist and click action, allowing fitting or removal at any time. The base is the only component that needs to be wired.

Although tone and volume settings can be preset, Sonos allows individual adjustment of the head settings for installations where precise local control is needed.

Optimised for use in fire systems, the range provides 32 distinct alarm tones, with outputs to 110dB at 1m, depending on the tone. Loops of sounders are automatically synchronised for maximum audibility in the event of an alarm.
