Electrical testing
June 1st 2006

The latest addition to the Seaward Primetest range of electrical safety testing instruments for safety management, maintenance and electrical engineering staff is a handheld portable appliance tester.

Primetest 50 is an easy-touse, basic electrical safety checker that provides an immediate pass/fail indication at the push of a button for all electrical equipment and appliances.

The lightweight instrument is battery powered and has easy-to-follow operating instructions. As well as essential earth continuity and insulation resistance tests, it has an IEC lead test and power socket test.

The device is available as part of an optional PATSolutions package that links it with appropriate test accessories and test data recording software.
