Entry-level software
April 1st 2007

An entry-level software package has been introduced by Seaward Electronic for the recording of electrical portable appliance tests undertaken in the workplace.

The PATGuard Lite program is a simple system for the quick and effective downloading of electrical safety testing results for workplace electrical equipment.

It has been specifically designed for use by SMEs and smaller organisations that carry out basic electrical service testing and maintain their own records but who require only basic test data to be retained.

Once electrical testing of equipment has been carried out, the direct transmission or manual input of results from the PAT via the PATGuard Work About program enables a test record database to be established.

The software uses Windows-based management information systems.
