Fast PAT reports

Faster and more accurate Portable Appliance Testing reports can be achieved following the development of a scheduling, control and reporting system by Epsilon Test Services.

Based on the latest mobile communications technology, the new PAT system enables engineers to produce reports in hours rather than weeks.

Upon completion of a test, engineers input their findings to handheld computers. Using wireless data transfer, results are fed back to head office, where reports are produced instantaneously and, after a quality check, despatched.

All visits are scheduled on a planning system in the office, and then diary and client information is downloaded to the engineers computer.

The efficiency of the technology enables each engineer to test up to 200 appliances a day as well as undertake basic repairs while on site.
