COMMAND STATIONS FOR TOUGH AREAS
August 1st 2004

Siemens Automation and Drives has launched the successor to its AS-i and AS-i Safety at Work pushbutton stations.

Signum 3SF581 has many application possibilities and easy handling.

Aluminium stations have been added alongside standard moulded plastic enclosures. The cast metal versions are suitable for tough areas. Stations can be ordered pre-assembled to precise requirements.

The range introduces several AS-i slaves: standard 4140, A/B 4130 and a safe slave with two failsafe inputs certified for Category 4 applications.
