Emergency stop: compact relay

The new ultra compact RK 5942 emergency stop relay from Dold Industries is so small it will squeeze into the tightest of panel gaps; with a width of 17.5mm and a depth of 70mm, its dimensions are no larger than a typical MCB.

The RK 5942 has full LED function indication with one 5A rated N/O redundant safety contact and one semiconductor output, which is short circuit and overload protected.

RK 5942 has an AC/DC 24V power supply and is designed primarily for safety category 2 applications, but it can also be used in dual channel category 3 applications with suitable external control and monitoring.

Dold Industries says that the device complements its existing LG series of 22.5mm wide safety relays and that its price matches its size.
