Shroud for stop button
June 1st 2007

Pilz Automation Technology has introduced a new model of PITestop emergency stop pushbutton with a rugged shroud. Not only does this prevent accidental actuation of the emergency stop switch, it enables padlocks to be fitted to prevent the machine or process being restarted.

Two shrouded versions are available: one for surfacemounting; the other being pre-installed on a junction box. The shroud extends to the full height of the pushbutton and wraps around, with two cut-outs to ensure the pushbutton can be easily actuated when required.
