April 1st 2006 When petrochemical manufacturer Lyondell/Equistar of Texas wanted to upgrade its hydrocarbon gas detection to protect process areas near pumps, compressors and furnaces, it opted to extend use of Det-Tronics fire/gas systems.
The company now has an Eagle 2000 addressable gas detection system, Infiniti transmitters and Eagle Quantum Premier combined fire/gas detection and control system.
The Eagle Quantum Premier is an all-in-one hazard safety package integrating fire and gas detection and extinguishing agent release on a faulttolerant digital communications network. Its controller co-ordinates system device configuration, monitoring and annunciation. |
