Flashback arrestors
June 1st 2007 Murex offers two types of
Saffire flashback arrestor,
both designed to provide
maximum protection for the
operator and his equipment
in the event of a flashback.
Saffire 36ec conforms to
the requirements of EN730
and offers comprehensive
protection. It has a pressure
sensitive cut-off, is suitable
for acetylene, propane,
oxygen and hydrogen gases.
The cylindrical Saffire XL
has an advanced design that
gives a high flow rate.
Internally, it has a large
cylindrical flame-arresting
element, automatic reset,
non-return valve and heat
