New safebook
August 1st 2011

Rockwell Automation has published an updated version of its Safebook series titled 'Safebook 4 - Principles of Machine Safety: Legislation, Theory and Practice' in preparation for machinery safety standards changes.

The updated booklet incorporates more information on two standards, EN ISO 13849-1 and IEC/EN 62061, instead of EN 954-1 which will no longer be referenced from January 1st 2012.

Safebook 4 is just part of Rockwell's safety offering. Recognising the impact that the change in the directive will have, Rockwell is also investing in a strategy aimed at assisting companies to address the new legislation and to make it work for them and not against them.
