Flexible solution for small areas

The new S300 from Sick is a flexible safety solution for monitoring small hazardous areas. The device has a maximum protective field radius of 2m and a full overview of 270°.

Standard, Advanced or Professional variants make the S300 range suitable for a variety of applications.

These include the replacement of safety mats, space-saving point-of operation protection or as personnel protection ofequipment for mobile transport systems or service robots.

The company says the S300 can also be used for entry-exit applications where light curtains are difficult to install.

By offering Type-3 approval in compliance with IEC 61496-3 and SIL2 according to IEC 61508, the S300 range meets latest standards.
