Tags to cut HAV
December 1st 2004

Warning tags to help employers comply with current and imminent regulations aimed at regulating levels of Hand Arm Vibration have been introduced by ritchey-id.

The hard-wearing polyurethane tags are designed to form part of an employers’ HAV risk management programme when new regulations come into force in 2005 to reduce acceptable power tool vibration levels.

They provide a costeffective, long-lasting method of displaying vibration hazard warnings and safety inspection and maintenance data.

The tags are robust enough to withstand extremes of temperature and are said to be unaffected by grease, grime or solvents.

They can be printed or supplied plain with a special pen.
