Ergonomic start option
June 1st 2007

Stanley Assembly Technologies has developed an ergonomic two-handed start solution that keeps the operator's hands away from rotating spindles and pinch points while using DC nut runners, especially tube nuts.

A low force spring-loaded sleeve with a second switch allows the operator to grip the tool comfortably in any orientation.

Both switches must be actuated within 500m for the tool to start.

The option is available on any E23L through E55L QPM model.

The two-handed option features a standard lever, along with an optional switch which must be engaged simultaneously in order to start the tool. Stanley says that by requiring the operator to use both hands to start the tool, potential injuries can be avoided.
