Voltage detector October 1st 2005 A new voltage detector has been introduced by Fluke and has 1000V Cat IV safety rating.
The Fluke 1AC-II VoltAlert provides an audible bleep as well as a visible red glow at its tip when a voltage is detected.
The user simply touches the tip of a terminal strip, outlet or power lead to test the presence of a voltage.
The 1AC-II has a 200 to 1000V AC test range; a lower voltage range unit (90 to 1000V AC) is also available. The 1AC-II voltAlert continually tests its battery and circuit integrity to further ensure user safety. Fluke Voltbeat technology carries out these tests and gives a periodic double flash to indicate the that tester is functioning correctly. More articles from Fluke (U.K.) Ltd: |
