Updates to dosemeter
February 1st 2007

Visitors to Health & Safety 07 will be able to see for themselves the updates made by Cirrus Research to its doseBadge personal noise dosemeter.

The company says that one of the most exciting developments is the introduction of a CU:110A charger unit. This allows up to five doseBadge units to be recharged within 2h and, in most cases, charge time will be quicker that this.

The updated CR:110A and CR:110AIS doseBadge personal noise dosemeters will provide, as standard, dual channel measurements.

This allows it to operate as two 'independent' noise dosemeters and to give two sets of measurement data.

Both the doseBadge and the Reader Unit have new software to allow these extra measurements to be made, yet doseBadge remains simple to use, with the dial channel measurements transparent to the user.

To support the dual channel measurements, an updated version of dBLink software has been released, which lets the user download and view the dual channel information and create reports.
