Uprated dosemeter
October 1st 2006

The latest version of the personal noise dosemeter equipment available from Cirrus Research has been uprated to comply with more regulations, guidelines and working-practice standards, ensuring a wider range of applications.

An intrinsically safe ATEX and EEx certified version is available for hazardous area operation.

Equipment comprises a CR:110A doseBadge and RC:110A reader unit, designed to simplify the process of noise monitoring within a working environment.

Lightweight and compact, the doseBadge is userprogrammable and comprises a non-removable microphone capsule and rechargeable battery, securely encased within a metal enclosure.

Unauthorised tampering is said to be eliminated.

Included is a rechargeable NiMH battery with a 'shaketo- wake' function that extends battery life.
