Schneider Electric has launched a new range of safety switches suitable for hazardous areas (potentially explosive atmospheres). The ATEX approved switches are available in coded non-contact (XCSDMC..Ex) or tongue operated (XCSA/B/C..Ex) versions for detection of opening guards.

The XCSDMC..Ex plastic, coded magnetic safety switch can be used in potentially explosive dusty or gaseous environments, while the the New XCSA/B/C..Ex metallic guard switch can be used in potentially explosive dusty environments.
