Free products to help with guarding
February 1st 2006 Procter Machinery Guarding chose MACH 2006 to exhibit the Satech low-cost modular perimeter guarding system.
The company is to distribute the system to customers in the UK and Ireland. It includes a range of panels, posts, doors, bracketry and accessories.
Four individual specifications are available to suit different applications and budgets. The system is expected to appeal to anyone requiring perimeter guarding. Customers can install the guards themselves or use Procter's installation teams.
The company has put together some useful free tools relating to machinery safety, namely a Guide to Machinery Guarding Standards, a risk assessment calculator, a machine accident investigation kit, and a safety distance calculator.
