Minimising user risk
October 1st 2005 With total orders placed now worth more than 500,000 A-Plant Tool Hire Shops claims to be the first tool hire company in the UK to offer the new Hilti TE56-ATC combihammer.
The 6.6kg tool has Hiltis Active Torque Control system that minimises risk to the operator by cutting power to the motor whenever the drill bit catches or sticks, preventing self-rotation of the tool and reducing danger to the operators hand and wrist.
Encapsulated in the order placed with Hilti is a special package of tools designed with the emphasis on increased safety and reduced hand arm vibration. In addition to the TE56-ATC tools include another combihammer, a battery hammer and rotary hammer.
