Pressure relief device
February 1st 2006

When Lucite International, environments, supplier of Methyl Methacrylate, decided to update its autoclave's pressure relief device, it opted for Elfab's Opti-Gard reverse-acting bursting disc assembly with Integral Flo- Tel sensor.

The durable, ATEX approved, non-invasive burst detection system, is based on magnetic field sensing.

The operation of the sensor can be checked without interrupting the process, and spurious alarms are avoided.
