Simple to use portable gas analyser
June 1st 2009

The Gasmet DX-4030, said to be the first truly portable FTIR gas analyser, is now available to hire from specialist environmental instrumentation company Quantitech.

The DX-4030 is based on tried and tested Gasmet technology providing both field-usability and high levels of analytical performance. The DX-4030 employs FTIR (Fourier Transform InfraRed Spectroscopy) analysis producing almost instantaneous readings for multiple compounds across a wide measurement range that extends to sub-ppm levels.

Quantitech's Dr Andrew Hobson said: "The DX-4030 is a high-profile addition to our range of rental instrumentation and represents the latest gas analysis technology.

Preparing the instrument for use is a fast and simple process and operating the system requires no specialist training.
