Simplified safety relays
June 1st 2011

Rockwell Automation claims to offer the broadest portfolio of machine and process safety devices, systems and services in the world.

This breadth of product offering, combined with the offerings of its competitors, means there is a huge choice of functionality, type and technology available. By drastically simplifying the range with its versatile Next Generation Safety Relays, the company aims to deliver more tangible benefits to its customers as they select the appropriate solution.

With the GSR Guardmaster Safety Relay a single catalogue item addresses the numerous issues raised above. Universal input supports the majority of safety components, while two separate safety inputs in a 22.5mm housing give twice the functionality of a standard relay.

The company is also introducing its next generation of safety relays, which boast the flexibility to fulfil the majority of the requirements needed for safety related applications despite being reduced just six products.
