Speedy gas detection
April 1st 2004

A new alignment system for the Sieger Searchline Excel open path gas detection system, from Zellweger Analytics, reduces sensor set-up time and guarantees optimum sensor performance.

As a result, installation of wide area gas detection systems for plant protection is said to be significantly quicker, cheaper and more accurate.

Known as True, the system for Excel facilitates alignment by one person in just a few minutes with no need for time consuming adjustment using additional software. Excel is now supplied with pre-aligned sample and reference sensors and a built-in three point monitoring datum that ensures the telescopic mounting bracket engages parallel to the unit. The operator simply has to line up the telescopic site using an Allen key.
