Static grounding systems
October 1st 2009

Newson Gale has released the next generation of its ATEX and IECEx certified Earth-Rite hazardous area static grounding systems. Designed to minimise the hazards of static ignitions during road tanker truck loading and unloading, the new systems feature a cluster of bright pulsing green LEDs, which indicate that a positive ground condition is established for the duration of the transfer process.

Housed in a IIC EX(d) enclosure, the new electronics have a certified operating temperature range of -40 to +55°C, which means the systems can be installed in the harshest operating environments without any modification.
