Bridging a gap in relays

While there are many safety relays on the market, Euchner believes its new, modular ESM-F device fills the gap between simple safety relays and safety PLCs.

The company believes that by eliminating the need for programming, its new relays are the simplest to install of all similar function products currently available.

With a centrally mounted base module giving two inputs and three safety outputs, extra inputs can be fitted to the left and outputs to the right. These can be grouped to give zoned inputs and outputs by simply inserting a link.

Interconnection of relays has been simplified with a serial bus connection that provides a high degree of 'plug-and-play'.
