Versatile relays
June 1st 2005

Scientific Technologies, Inc (STI) has introduced 28 safety monitoring relays.

The new SR 100 Series of fixed terminal relays and the SR 2000 Series of removable terminal models are said to provide a solution to suit almost all safety monitoring applications.

The versatility of the relays allows them to be used with a variety of protective devices, including E-stops, interlocks, safety mats and light curtains.

Many configurations and switching arrangements are easily achieved to suit the particular requirements of individual safety systems. The SR family has dual channel inputs and up to three adjustable time delay outputs for applications requiring a time-delayed stop sequence. Three additional outputs without time delay are included as standard.

Expansion modules allow up to three additional time delayed outputs or differing time delayed outputs. Monitoring of two-hand palm buttons and stop motion sensing is also easily achieved with the SR series relays.

The SR family carries the CE mark and is UL and C-UL listed.
