Wireless addition to relay range October 1st 2007 Dold has expanded its range
of safety relays to include
wireless standalone and user
programmable multifunction
systems.
The new Safemaster W
wireless safety system
consists of a lightweight
compact transmitter unit
which has a Category 4 Estop
pushbutton and up two
eight programmable
semiconductor outputs,
controlled by four two-stage
pushbuttons and a green
reset pushbutton. It has
been designed for users that
require access into
dangerous areas for setup
and crucial maintenance
work and allows machine
control functions and full Estop
facilities.
System handover from
conventional to remote
safety operation is enabled
by coded key and a
monitored charging unit.
This can be augmented by
an infrared target module to
ensure handover and reset
can only be achieved when
the user is within a safe
operating area. More articles from Dold Industries Ltd: |
