KOPEX PREPARES TO DEAL WITH ALL RISKS
April 1st 2005

Recognising that industrial sites, from petrochemical refineries to flour mills can represent very different yet equally hazardous situations, Kopex International has set up a network of specialist stockists to meet specifier’s demands.

The manufacturer of high performance conduit systems has taken the step to make its range more accessible to contractors and consultants.

Available through 60 accredited stockists, the ATEX Flameproof Gland, for example, can be used with any of the Kopex liquid tight conduit systems and is sealed using a specially developed putty.

This is a two-component epoxy that is easily mixed and packed into the well engineered brass casings of the gland. Importantly, the seal formed by the putty is unaffected by the demounting and reassembly process necessary during routine inspections.
