Heavy duty cutter cuts injury risk
April 1st 2008 A recent addition to Martor's
range of safety knives is the
Megasafe, an ergonomicallydesigned,
heavy duty cutter
with an aluminium handle
that allows both left- and
right-handed users to easily
perform general purpose
cutting tasks.
The device features the
company's 'smart knife
technology' which allows the
blade to retract automatically
when it loses contact with
the material being cut. It will
retract even if the user leaves
the slider in the forward
position.
The cutter has an easy,
tool-free blade change and can
handle straight or hook blade.
