APPROVED FOR USE IN HAZARDOUS AREAS
April 1st 2004

Available from importer, Whitby & Co, certain products in Princeton Tecs lighting range have now received an approval rating for use in hazardous environments.

The Yukon is claimed to be the first head torch to use a 1W side emitting led, providing a burn time of 25h.

The companys Impact XL handheld torch uses the same technology. The Scout is waterproof, weighs 1.8oz and is powered by four tiny lithium coin cell batteries. The headtorch is said to offer burn time that is up to 30 times greater than incandescent cell headlamps.
