August 1st 2005

Wolf Safety has been awarded two contracts from the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for special versions of its primary cell powered Wolf ATEX safety torch .

The TR-24+MOD yellow Right-Angle safety torch is being supplied to ground crew for inspection of aircraft. Key features include high visibility body and glow-in-the-dark lens ring, high output xenon bulbs and low battery power indicator.

The TR-24BMOD Aircrew Right-Angle safety torch is being supplied to RAF aircrew for applications such as pre-flight inspections of helicopters. It was specified in black to allow the use of coloured filters, masking any light that could otherwise leak through the back of the torch.
