LIGHT CURTAIN FOR POINT OF OPERATION

Scientific Technologies has introduced a 14mm resolution version of its MiniSafe MS4600 Series safety light curtain, offering a broader range of detection capabilities.

The system is a two-box design, consisting of a transmitter and receiver. No separate control box is required since the reliable control circuitry is contained in the receiver and transmitter. No cable is required between them.

The unit is suitable for point-of-operation guarding applications. Both 14 and 20mm versions are available in standard segmented lengths from 260 to 1390mm, and a 30mm version is available in segments from 350 to 2095mm, suitable for perimeter guarding.

The MS4600 series has STIs Individual Beam Indicators that simplify alignment. The system comes with in-line connector cables to allow mounting of transmitter and receiver segments in crowded locations.
