Light curtains make uk show debut
August 1st 2007 On show for the first time at any UK exhibition will be two high-profile Leuze Mayser safety light curtains. The IP68 rated version of Compactplus offers integral Bus connectivity without the need for additional coupling devices, while the Solid 4, has torsionally stiff housing plus high immunity from EMC disturbance. COMPACTplus meets the requirements of SIL 3 in accordance with IEC 61508 and is available with a range of functionalities that include blanking, muting and cycle control. These features together with the added protection of IP68 classification ensure that Compactplus is one of the most versatile safety light curtains available. It is fully equipped for applications in food and other manufacturing processes where the ability to undergo wash-down is a standard requirement. The SOLID-4 safety light curtain has been engineered for arduous environments. Its trouble-free performance is complemented by a choice of four standard resolutions - 14, 20, 30, 40 and 90mm.
