RECHARGEABLE TORCH HAS ATEX-APPROVAL
June 1st 2005

Wolf Safety has launched the first in its range of ATEX-approved rechargeable torches.

Robust, yet compact and ergonomically designed, the torch weighs 325g which the company believes is a fraction that of competitive torches with a similar performance.

A high efficiency 4W halogen bulb offers two levels of light output and 3 to 7h light duration. Battery charge status is indicated with a bar of red LEDs that go out one-byone as the charge diminishes. Towards the end of discharge, the beam flashes repeatedly.

Chargers are available with Quick (2.5h) or Standard (8h) charge rates, configured to run from vehicle voltages or mains with a suitable transformer The charger has singlehanded ‘snap-in, snatchout’ torch holder to give secure torch retention, yet quick release when needed.
