Machinery safety course
February 1st 2007

Pilz Automation Technology has developed two new machinery safety courses, both of which are accredited by City & Guilds.

The first is a one-day course for supervisors; the second a two-day course for managers. Both cover the EU Regulations and standards for machinery safety, and explain the extent of candidates' responsibilities under current legislation.

The one-day course enables candidates to develop their knowledge of the relevant legislation and supporting standards, providing 'best practice' guidance on machinery and work equipment safety.

There is a particular focus on the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and PUWER 98.
