Keep cool under stress
August 1st 2004

Jackson Technical Solutions has supplied the Counter-Terrorism unit of British Transport Police with Cool Zone Cool Vests.

Suitable for those working with breathing apparatus and gas-tight suits, they help reduce problems of heat stress.

The special heat transfer formula is set at 10C. The rate of energy release of this heat transfer formula can be as much as three times the rate of ice or gel for the same volume.

The user benefits from a cooling period of 4h and over-cooling is prevented.

The vest has been tested under body armour and, under certain conditions, can reduce the effects of blunt trauma by 90%.
