New fire resistant clothing range
October 1st 2011 Now available from ESAB, the new
FR range of clothing is designed
for welders. From the FR
Economy black overall, right
up to the Phoenix FR Leather
jacket and trousers, each item
has been made with the needs
of the welding operative to the
fore.
The FR Economy overall, made
from an inherently flame resistant
material, comes with two chest
pockets with concealed single stud
fastening. The garment has a side
elasticated back for comfort and a
concealed stud front with brass
studs. In addition to the two patch
chest pockets there is an internal
mobile phone pocket, straight hip
pockets and a back ruler pocket.
A proban leather jacket
and trousers form a suit
that gives protection
during heavy duty
welding. The fabric
material makes the
garments lightweight,
breathable and comfortable
to wear; judicious use of
leather ensures good
protection against spatter
and small drops of molten
metal in the most exposed
