Water/windproof and breathable
April 1st 2006

Among the products being shown by W L Gore Associates at Safety & Health Expo will be garments that use Gore-Tex antistatic fabric.

This is woven into the Gore-Tex membrane and protected from damage by the face fabric.

The waterproof and breathable membrane enables the garment to be worn in a range of environments and weather conditions.

Gore's Annecy fabric will also be on display. This 3- layer fabric has been specially designed for the electrical industry. Garments made from the fabric are waterproof, windproof, breathable and flame retardant with nonmelt face fabric.

Gore associate, David Storrie, says "Working with our partners, Gore is pushing the boundaries of PPE to enable the optimum in protection and comfort to workers in the industrial and utilities workwear sectors.
