Welding goggle
January 1st 2004

Pulsafe, the eye and face protection brand of Bacou-Dalloz has introduced a new welding goggle.

The V-Maxx goggle is said to combine maximum performance with enhanced comfort. It has a 180 panoramic field of vision (without distorting peripheral vision) and protects against ultraviolet and infrared radiation.

The polycarbonate lens is available in two shades (3 and 5) and has both anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings on the inside and outside.

Offering protection against impact, dusts, liquids and molten metal, the V-Maxx has a rotating strap attachment that enables the goggle to be used in conjunction with a hardhat and helps maintain wearer comfort for as long as the hardhat is worn.

The 3-D design of the eye protection system has been tested by respiratory product designers. The goggle can be worn with comfort when using half-mask respirators or disposable masks and can be worn over most prescription spectacles.
